Style: Art deco

We are at the time of the Roaring 20s, Coco Chanel and jazz. A moment of creative and liberating euphoria following the World War One.

After 1925 and the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts, furniture adopts the style Art Deco.
A concern for comfort predominates, the wood is often hidden by a leather or textile covering. Shapes become simpler but decoration is luxurious, mainly inspired by the Cubist.

This cute Art Deco style vanity set dates from the 1930s. It is made of Saint-Amand porcelain signed "Société Amandinnoise".
The historical Saint-Amand faience factories date from the 18th century, while the "Société Amandinoise de Faïencerie" was created in 1900.
This set will give a very original touch to your bathroom or dressing room. But you can also decorate an entrance console or why not give free rein to your imagination and transform it into a vase or a fruit bowl in your kitchen.
