Those two engravings are taken from editions of the "Journal des Demoiselles" dating from 1912.
Founded in February 1833, this magazine for girls between 14 and 18 years old from wealthy families was published until 1922.
It featured articles on education and science, but especially on literature, theatre, music, morals and manners and of course fashion!
