Discover this exquisite mantelpiece set, composed of an indoor planter and two vases. The cobalt blue, highlighted with golden motifs, is particularly radiant. The unique shape of the vase handles is highly distinctive. This set was made by the renowned Belgian manufactory Boch, which has been in existence since 1841, and dates back to 1920. The stamp on the bottom of the vases, used by the brand between 1880 and 1920, allows us to precisely date these pieces. It's interesting to note that the stamps of faience and porcelain manufacturers (what we would call their logo today) evolved over time, helping us date these objects. You probably don't have a fireplace, but this refined set will look stunning on a chest of drawers or a console table, adding a touch of elegance to any interior.

More Information
Style: Art deco
We are at the time of the Roaring 20s, Coco Chanel and jazz. A moment of creative and liberating euphoria following the World War One.
After 1925 and the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts, furniture adopts the style Art Deco.
A concern for comfort predominates, the wood is often hidden by a leather or textile covering. Shapes become simpler but decoration is luxurious, mainly inspired by the Cubist.
