The "bouillotte" lamp is one of the most renowned design products in history, particularly during the 19th century. Originally designed as an accessory for card games, it takes its name from the game itself: bouillotte. This lamp was placed at the center of the eponymous table.
The base of the lamp is shaped like a bowl, intended to collect some of the chips during each game, usually given to the household staff at the end of the game.
Nowadays, these lamps are used as desk lamps and are synonymous with elegance. They add a touch of classic sophistication to any space, making them a perfect addition to your home or office decor.
The one I'm offering here is made of bronze, with three branches and a stunning round dark green metal shade with laurel leaves. It is, of course, electrified.
