This elegant oval mirror, in very good condition, dates from the second half of the 19th century. Made of wood and gilt plaster, it features a bevelled glass and a parqueted back.
The finely detailed frontispiece is emblematic of the Louis XVI style: crossed fasces, foliage, a dove, and a crown of roses. With its generous proportions and decorative presence, it makes a refined statement piece — whether in an entryway, above a console, or simply leaned against a wall for a relaxed, timeless touch.
