A delightful pair of decorative Limoges porcelain plates from the Delignières factory, decorated with portraits of women. The Delignières factory, which operated from 1879 to 1900, specialised in the creation of Limoges porcelain items, particularly decorative plates that were hand-painted and embellished with gold. The company even won a silver medal at the 1889 Universal Exhibition. It was dissolved on 1 December 1900 and taken over by Léonard Bernardaud. These two plates have a slight difference in colour but nevertheless make a charming set. Hang them on a wall, display them in a glass cabinet, use them as a trinket tray in your hallway – you'll love them.As long as you wash them by hand, you can even use them as serving plates for sweets.
