Beautiful cake set consisting of eight blue dessert plates with gold trim and scalloped edges. They are decorated with three different motifs inspired by the ‘fêtes galantes’ painted by Watteau and Fragonard. This set dates from the 1950s. The gilding is slightly worn in places, but this only adds to its charm. They are perfect for presenting your cakes and are sure to arouse the curiosity of your guests, but you can also hang them on the wall as decorative objects. Let your imagination run wild!
Saint-Amand-les-Eaux ceramics are porcelain produced since 1705 in France in several factories in the Nord department. ‘L'Amandinoise’ refers to a former brand of tableware produced by the Faïencerie de la Gare in Saint-Amand-les-Eaux. In the 1950s, the tableware was marketed under the ‘L'Amandinoise’ brand, and the factory closed in 1954.
