This charming little piece, inspired by the Louis XVI style, dates from the 1970s.
It was originally a library ladder, and it now makes a wonderfully original shelf with its three levels and its two small lion‑head handles.
Its slender columns and graceful crosspieces give it an elegant silhouette.
It’s up to you to find the right place for it — personally, I can imagine it beautifully on a half‑landing in a staircase.
