This charming pair of small Napoleon III candlesticks dates from circa 1860. Each piece rests on a round black marble base set on three little brass claws, and the brass forming the body of the candlesticks is delicately chiselled, giving them a refined and timeless presence.
They make a lovely decorative accent in a cabinet or on a shelf, but of course the best way to enjoy them is to use them. The soft glow of candlelight brings a romantic atmosphere to your dinners when placed on the table. You can also simply light them for no special occasion, just for the pleasure of their gentle evening glow.
