This two‑arm gilt‑bronze candelabra dates from the late 19th century, a period that beautifully reinterpreted Louis XV models with exceptionally fine chiselling. Also known as Rococo or rocaille, this style is characterised by its flowing curves, counter‑curves and a certain playful elegance in the arrangement of the arms. Here, the scrolling foliage and the lively acanthus leaves create a graceful movement that feels both decorative and refined.
Placed on a table, a commode or a console, it brings a touch of French charm and a warm, intimate glow. And of course, once lit, it becomes the perfect companion for a romantic dinner, casting soft, shimmering light across the room.

Louis XV, known as the "Beloved" reigned over the kingdom of France from 1715 to 1774, he was the only king of France to be born and die at the Palace of Versailles.
The Louis XV style is characterized by its elegance and lightness. It is recognizable by the grace of the curved legs of the furniture with "pied de biche"(deer foot).
The wood is natural, gilded or painted. The "rococo" style ornamentation is inspired by nature and exoticism.
