Made in the Louis XV revival style, this charming piece retains its original warming base. Designed to prepare herbal infusions and keep them warm, the set is composed of several elements: the lid, the teapot, the base, and the small candle that, once lit, gently warms the tisane above.

Beyond its practical purpose, the gentle glow of the flame would shine through the openings of the base, allowing the piece to serve as a night‑light — hence its second name, the veilleuse‑tisanière.
