elegant, refined presence ideal for a lady’s bedroom. It has been newly upholstered in a superb satin-lampas damask in soft rose tones, which enhances its charm while preserving the authenticity and the history of the elegant women of bygone days who once sat upon it.

Louis XV, known as the "Beloved" reigned over the kingdom of France from 1715 to 1774, he was the only king of France to be born and die at the Palace of Versailles.
The Louis XV style is characterized by its elegance and lightness. It is recognizable by the grace of the curved legs of the furniture with "pied de biche"(deer foot).
