A bonnetière is a tall, single-door armoire traditionally used to store bonnets and linens. Elegant yet practical, it offers compact storage with real decorative presence.
This Louis XV-style bonnetière, dating from the late 1800s, is veneered in rich rosewood and features a beautifully carved crest, a hidden drawer in the base, and a beveled mirror door — lightly marked by time, but replaceable with glass or mesh according to your preference.
Whether placed in an entryway or bedroom as a classic bonnetière, or reimagined as a small bookcase, it’s a piece ready for a new chapter. Let’s explore together how it might find its place in your home.

More Information
Style: Louis XV
Louis XV, known as the "Beloved" reigned over the kingdom of France from 1715 to 1774, he was the only king of France to be born and die at the Palace of Versailles.
The Louis XV style is characterized by its elegance and lightness. It is recognizable by the grace of the curved legs of the furniture with "pied de biche"(deer foot).
The wood is natural, gilded or painted. The "rococo" style ornamentation is inspired by nature and exoticism.
