French antiques have a certain charm that makes them unique, and this delicate Louis XVI-style console table (circa 1920) is a perfect example.
Console tables are iconic pieces in the history of French furniture. This is a classic “leaning console,” specifically designed to rest elegantly against a wall. Whether it adorns a hallway or fits perfectly between two windows, its purpose is to provide an exceptional showcase for your favorite decorative treasures.
What makes my heart melt? Its perfect proportions. It exudes that natural neoclassical elegance that never feels “over the top.” But what really catches the eye is its color palette: that dreamy Versailles green paired with soft gilding and a dazzling white marble top. It’s simply a Parisian dream in the form of a piece of furniture.
It’s in beautiful condition and, honestly… it’s just waiting for the right home to shine in. Could it be yours?
