This elegant tea table, crafted in the Napoleon III style around 1900, features two brass-rimmed tiers and delicately adorned legs with small bronze mounts. Made of rich mahogany, it’s a fine example of late 19th-century design.
What sets it apart is its unusually low height — a rare trait among tea tables of the era, which were typically taller. Its proportions make it surprisingly well-suited to contemporary living, perfect for modern entertaining while preserving all the grace of its time.
