Very elegant Napoleon III console table from the late 19th century, in a soft beige tone. It has lovely curves and fine gilt lines, and there is a large hidden drawer in the belt that you only notice when you look closely. It has two shelves and a beige marble on top; the marble was cracked in two places over time, but it has been repaired very well and is almost not noticeable.

I’m showing it here as a serving table because its three levels make it surprisingly practical, and the marble lets you place tea, coffee or fruit juice without worrying. But of course, you can also use it in a more classic way — in an entrance or a hallway, with a painting or a mirror above, and maybe a pair of lamps, candleholders or a vase. Its neutral colour and clean lines make it easy to adapt to your way of life and your aesthetic.
