This pedestal table, crafted in solid mahogany with mahogany veneer, is an Empire‑style piece dating from the late 19th century. Its pure, elegant lines make it a beautiful accent table in a living room, especially topped with a lamp.
The grey marble top rests on three column‑shaped legs, each finished with finely striated bronze rings at the top and bottom. And if you look at the third photo, you’ll see its larger counterpart — a lovely opportunity to create a harmonious set.
A refined piece with timeless elegance.

Style Empire:
The First French Empire is a period marked by the reign of Napoleon Bonaparte from 1804 to 1815.
The craftsmen were invited to create majestic works to symbolise imperial power. For this purpose, they took up Egyptian or Greco-Roman motifs and adapted them to furniture.
To these are added imperial and warlike motifs. These include the crown, the imperial eagle, the bee, the star, the spear...
Mahogany, walnut, maple, elm and ash are representative woods of this style.
