This huge Louis XV–style console table dates from circa 1920. Made of solid mahogany with a polished finish, it shows warm reflections and a beautiful natural shine in the photos. Its cabriole legs and scalloped contours give it that graceful, unmistakable Louis XV silhouette.
It works perfectly as a statement piece in an entrance hall or in a living room, styled with candlesticks, vases or a clock, and topped with a mirror. In a dining room, it also makes a wonderful sideboard topped with a larfe painting. A superb, elegant console table with real presence, ready to bring character to any space.

Style: Louis XV
Louis XV, known as the "Beloved" reigned over the kingdom of France from 1715 to 1774, he was the only king of France to be born and die at the Palace of Versailles.
The Louis XV style is characterized by its elegance and lightness. It is recognizable by the grace of the curved legs of the furniture with "pied de biche"(deer foot).
The wood is natural, gilded or painted. The "rococo" style ornamentation is inspired by nature and exoticism.
